Background and preparation
As a small child, I always knew certain things without being told such as someone 300 miles away was about to visit! This childhood ability evolved and when I entered my teens people were drawn to me. They talked, I listened, allowing myself to feel their pain and sadness. Word spread and we moved home quite often. My mother always protected me through the years. At the age of 17 I began using my skills professionally and enjoyed helping others.
