Horary Astrology
Astrology has many branches; the most familiar is the Natal chart, one drawn up for the moment of birth.
Another type of astrological chart is the Horary, drawn up when the client asks the astrologer a question, which can be on any topic.
The most frequently asked question is about relationships. Usually if a current one will succeed, or if an old one will come back.
Other frequently asked questions involve money, career, children (am I pregnant?) and will I pass my driving test?
Certain rules do need to be followed, which help the astrologer to arrive at a conclusion.
The client will be represented by the Ascending sign and its planetary ruler.
The topic asked about is represented by its relevant house or area of the chart, for instance the fifth house concerns children.
It’s the movement of the planets, and the relationship they make to each other that gives the answer.
Only the seven traditional planets are taken into consideration, which are, in order of swiftness: the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
If two planets are applying to one another (making a relationship to one another) in an aspect of ease, then the answer is likely to be a resounding yes.
